Armed Forces Week is a chance to show our support for the men, women and children who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans, reservists and cadets. Two key days within Armed Forces Week are Reserves Day which was on Wednesday 26 June and Armed Forces Day on Saturday 29 June.
We have several staff within NHS Cheshire and Merseyside who have served in the Armed Forces and some who continue to do so in form of reservists.
NHS Cheshire and Merseyside is accredited as a silver level employer under the MOD’s Employer Recognition Scheme.
At NHS Cheshire and Merseyside we also have a Armed Services Family Group, which meet online once a month. The group consists of all families of serving armed forces personnel.
