We are no longer be accepting walk in urine samples for acute symptoms unless this has been triaged/receptionist has asked you to bring one in. Any women aged 18 – 65 will be referred to the pharmacy unless they have a reoccurring Urine infection, blood in urine or they are pregnant. Otherwise, all patients who have symptoms of a urine infection will have to go through triage.
This is due to an increase in urine samples being received by the surgery unnecessarily. We are really sorry for any inconvenience caused.
